REDTV Emerges Best Online TV of the Year
On 12th June 2022, at the prestigious Eko Hotel in Lagos, Nigeria, The Gage awards held its 3rd edition. In attendance were technocrats, creatives, and digital innovators. Seeking to recognize and celebrate innovators in the Digital spectrum, GAGE rewards those setting the pace, and aimed at accelerating digitalization by setting standards for growth, innovation, competition, and attracting new talents to the digital space according to the convener, Johnson Anorh.
Up for our 2nd nomination, REDTV emerged winner, as the best web TV platform in 2022. Other nominees in the category included NdaniTv and Nevada Bridge. Accepting the award on behalf of the Brand, Obinna Okerekeocha, Creative Director at REDTV pointed out that ‘’digital innovation is a big part of our success stories as creatives, and at REDTV we stop at nothing to continuously break the barrier and take on new challenges.
The event was a glitzy, and glamorous black-tie dinner awards with a stellar performance from Nigerian R’n’B crooner, Chike. Other recipients of the nights included; Nengi Adokiye,(Online influencer and Best actress in a web series), Mr funny a.k.a Sabinus (Comedian of the year), Goya Menor for the Trace Digital awards, and @Ifyskitchen as online food brand influencer of the year, amongst a host of others.
